The Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities. Thereafter, met by Primate Expeditions representative and transferred to Boma guest (approx… 10 minutes).

Day 3
Discover Kibale
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred with packed lunches to the Kibale Forest Park offices. Go through registration and briefing, thereafter enter the forest in search of the cheeky apes. There are close to 12 other primate species including the red-tailed monkey, colobus monkey, L’hoest monkey among others. Later, after enjoying a packed lunch, a leisurely drive back to the lodge – rest of the afternoon at leisure – tennis or relax by the pool with the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori mountains in the background!

Day 4
Queen Elizabeth Nat'l Park
After breakfast, depart via Fort Portal & Kasese; proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park. You could stop by the Uganda Equator, continue to enter the park and proceed to check in at Kasenyi Safari camp for lunch. Afternoon boat cruise at 1400 hours – the cruise takes approx 2 hours. Later proceed for a late afternoon game drive returning to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha sector for a brief game viewing en route (for an extended game drive, extra park fees and packed lunch required – extra costs below). Arrive at Mahogany Springs lodge for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 6
Discover Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve
Wakeup call and have breakfast at the lodge. Later, drive to the nearby park offices to attend a briefing by the Tourism Conservation and the gorilla guides. You will be briefed on how to behave in the forest while in the presence of the gorilla family. Later, after registration, the gorilla trekking starts with trackers, guides and porters and this may take as little as a few minutes to as long as a couple of hours. Once the gorilla group is found, you will be allowed an hour to stay with the gorillas before breaking off for lunch in the forest. Later, walk back to your waiting vehicle and return to the park offices to receive a gorilla trekking Certificate. You will later return to your accommodations to freshen up. Rest of the evening at leisure.
