The Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities. Thereafter, met by Primate Expeditions representative and transferred to the hotel.
Park Inn by Radisson -Standard BB
Day 3
Ruhengeri - Gorilla Trek
Early breakfast at your lodge; 0630 hours; Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park HQs; 0700 hours; Registration where the park staff determines which group of gorillas you will visit. Trekking can take from two to six or more hours if the gorillas move before the park rangers locate them the next morning. The guides stop frequently to allow trekkers a chance to rest and take photos along the way. After the trek, meet up with your guide and transfer back to your lodge for lunch/dinner and overnight.
